Our target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. That standard covers perceivability, operability, understandability and robustness for assistive technologies.
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML with landmarks, headings and lists so structure is announced correctly.
- Keyboard access for navigation, category drawers, dialogs and the image lightbox.
- Visible focus styles and accessible names on icon-only buttons.
- Colour palettes checked for contrast in both light and dark themes.
- Alternative text on offer imagery and responsive layouts down to small screens.
Known limitations
- Images supplied by advertisers may contain text we cannot re-caption.
- Pages on third-party advertiser sites are outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
- Some deeply nested filter combinations are still being improved for screen reader announcements.
